Patterns & the Sketchbook
Designs live in your sketchbook: dress patterns assemble from pattern pieces (the prototype's own terms include bodice and skirt), and the official presskit frames the range as everything from simple summer dresses to extravagant royal gowns. September Tea says the full game has over 150 dress pieces and over 350 accessories, handmade in-house. The June 2026 trailer also promised many new dress types.
The sketchbook grew real workflow features across prototype updates (official devlogs): flip back through pages to revisit earlier designs, preview colours per panel before committing, and a tags system that records each design as its fabric-and-pattern combination.
Decorations & Finishing
After machine sewing, dresses are finished by hand — the store page lists buttons, bows, appliqué and lace trims, and the trailer adds the notions & haberdashery drawer of a proper dressmaking shop. Decorations arrived in stages in the prototype: buttons and bows in v0.4, lace trims in v0.5 (official devlogs).

What does the tags system do?
Tags record each sketchbook design as its fabric-and-pattern combination — introduced in prototype v0.4 per the official devlog. How tags interact with customer preferences in the full game is unverified.
Can I export a pattern for real-life sewing?
No. The developers said the full game will not export real dressmaking patterns. It can export dresses so other players can import them in-game. That is a game-to-game share, not a paper pattern.
